What do you do with the presentation save to a memory stick or other device to use in the "village hall" context where IT facities are minimal.

Saving to a memory stick is a good idea, however i would also burn to a cd so you have a backup and also have a print out for real emergencies or to photocopy and give out as handouts.

make sure you take extension leads to older "villgae halls", they are famous for havin a couple of electric sockets in the most obscure place.

PowerPoint tip:

Run presentation manually

If you have saved slide timings but want to run the presentaion without the timings, choose Slide Show, Set Up Show command, and under Advance Slides, click on Manually. When you want the timings on again, select Using Timings, If present.
