Is there a way in outlook to autocorrect when people type an abbreviation of the company name that we do not want used for example:

company name = Allies and Morrison
preferred abbreviation = A+M
do not want to use = A&M, AAM

Thank you!

RE: Preferred names

Hi Clare, Thank you for the post, in response;

If MS Word is your text editor, you can follow these steps;

1. From the main window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling tab.
2. Click AutoCorrect Options.
3. In the Replace box, type a word or phrase that you often mistype or misspell, or one of your unrequired options above.. for example A&M
4. In the With box, type the correct spelling of the word

Outlook tip:

Sort messages by multiple headings

It is possible to apply more than one sort to messages using the column headings that appear at the top of your inbox or other folders.

This will allow you to sort, for example, by Sender then by Received date.

Sort firstly by clicking on one column heading (to perform your first sort). As long as you hold down the Shift key in conjunction with clicking on the second column heading you wish to sort by, the messages should not completely rearrange themselves but retain your first sort then apply the second sort to the first sort.
