How to customise/copy format a presentation from an existing corporate theme

RE: Powerpoint 2007

Hi Vanessa

Thank you for your question; and welcome to the forum.

You can use the Reuse Slides feature to copy slides with their formatting from one presentation to another.

To do this:
1. On the Home tab, find the New Slide button and click the down arrow below it. Select Reuse Slides

2. To access a slide or slides in an existing presentation, click Open a PowerPoint File so you can navigate to and select the presentation file that you wish to copy slides from.

3. Once the slides from the selected presentation appear, right-click on the slide you wish to copy and select the Insert Slide option.

4. Ensure that you check the Keep Source Formatting option to retain the source formatting of the slide that you are inserting. This will copy the design for the slide as well.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

PowerPoint tip:

2003 keyboard shortcuts work in 2010

If you are happy using your Ctrl + shortcuts and Alt + shortcuts, they still work in Powerpoint 2010.

You can also benefit from the 2010 enhancements using Key Tips.
