Powerpoint to word
I am trying to replicate a table which was in Powerpoint to Word and I can't seem to copy the exact sizing? How can I reduce the spacing between the lines? I can do that easily, usually but it wont work properly, seems as though its locked. There is too much space before and after the writing.
I need the rows to close in more so that the list is closer together?
I hope you can help.
RE: Powerpoint to word
Hi Emily
Thank you for your question.
Select the rows in the table, try going to Table - Table Properties - Row. Then tick the Specify height box, and try changing the measurement for the row height and then click OK.
If this doesn't work then try selecting the rows, go to Format - Paragraph and check if the Spacing Before and After are set to 0pts and that the line spacing is set to Single. Then click OK.
I hope one of these helps, if not let me know.

RE: Powerpoint to word
Hi Amanda,
thanks for your reply.
I have tried both of those suggestions. Do you know what else could be the problem?
The height does not seem to move when I try to move it up. I just want the table to closely enclose the writing in the table and its not usually a problem.
Many thanks for your help.
