is it possible to embed a powerpoint slide into an excel spreadsheet. if so how.

RE: inbedding power point into excel

Hi Jeff

Thank you for question; and welcome to the forum.

You can embed a PowerPoint slide into an Excel spreadsheet by:

1. Selecting the PowerPoint slide you wish to embed from the Slides pane on the left hand side of the screen.
2. Copy the slide.
3. In Excel, right-click and select the Paste Special option.
4. Ensure Microsoft PowerPoint Slide Object is selected and click OK.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

PowerPoint tip:

Getting animations to play in slide show view

If you have a presentation that you know contains animations, but they are not playing in slide show view, try the following:

1. Go to Slide Show - Set up Show.

2. In the 'Show options' section of the dialogue box that appears, check to see if the box next to 'Show without animation' has been checked.

3. Remove the check and click OK - you should now be able to see the animations play in slide show view.
