How do you create extra boxes manually in an Organisation Chart?

RE: Powerpoint

Hi Michele

Thank you for your question.

You can manually create additional boxes for your organisation chart by using elements from the Drawing toolbar.

Ensure the toolbar is turned on (View - Toolbars - Drawing) and then if you go to Autoshapes, then the Basic Shapes category there is a Rounded Rectangle shape in the second row of shapes that is the same as the shapes in the default chart. Click the shape to select it.

You will then need to draw the additional rectangle onto your slide (hold the left mouse down and drag diagonally); then resize and position it accordingly.

You can then draw lines in from the Drawing toolbar to link the rectangle to the rest of the chart.

I hope this helps.

Amanda
