How do you add a hyperlink to a presentation?

Hi Louise, Thank you for your post, welcome to the forum. In answer to your question; to add a hyperlink to either jump to another slide, another program, to a web page or to initiate an email link, on the slide from which you wish to navigate insert a text box, or use an existing text place holder, type your text, then select the text or part of text you wish to use as your hyperlink trigger. On the standard toolbar locate the hyperlink button (globe with chain) and click, (keyboard command CTRL+K) then from the dialog box which opens choose your options from the Link to: options. Insert alternative text, Screen Tip and location/address of the target file or page. Click OK and then in Presentation view click the hyperlink to confirm its operation.
