Thank you for posting a question, in answer to your question the reason for using a macro is so that you can record a series of task that would help you do something more quickly

because when you run a macro this series of tasks can then be run by just clicking on a button, which may then be quicker that doing the tasks over and over which may take you a while to do

If you copy a web address the only way to paste into the address field of the hyperlink box is to use CTRL + V. Right click paste does not work.
