How do I perform YTD & % KPI's for Financial Ratio's

RE: Financial Data & Ratios

Hi Shohaib,

Thank you for the forum question and the nice feedback. I am happy that you found the Power Bi course useful.

I was a little bit to fast answering your Year to date question yesterday, but if you look at the formula below:

Year to Date = CALCULATE(sum(TableName[ColumnName]),DATESYTD(NameOfDateTable[NameOfColumnPrimaryKeyInDateTable]))

I am not sure exactly what you are looking for in the second question. To calculate the ratio in percentage:

Ratio=Divide(Sum(TableName[LastYearValues]),Sum(TableName[ThisYearValues]),0)

Format the measure as percentage.

Do you have a KPI percentage?

Kind regards
