Where are the best places to get pictures?

RE: Pictures

Hi Richard,

You can get pictures from all over the web, but obviously for commercial web sites you'll need to consider copyright laws.

Some of the best Stock Pictures I've seen on the web are at the free http://www.sxc.hu as well as the pay-per-picture http://www.stockxpert.com

Other than that, you can do a google image search at http://images.google.co.uk or search for 'stock photography' on a search engine.

I'm sure there are many other ways you can get pictures, including private companies with stock pictures on DVDs and CDs.

Good luck with your search, and I hope you enjoy your Dreamweaver Intermediate course today.

Regards, Rich

Dreamweaver tip:

JumpMenu in new window

When inserting a jumpmenu to a page, the only option available for 'open in' is usually 'main window'. There would be other options available if the page was a frameset.

To change the jumpmenu to open in a new window, change the target parameter of the selectbox in your code to 'window.open()'.

eg.

<select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('window.open()',this,0)">
