Data and charts

I would like to learn how to convert data input into a spreadsheet to charts on the same report.

I NEED TO PRODUCE REPORTS TO MY BOARD THAT WILL HAVE LOTS OF DATA ENTERED AND THEN SHOW THE DATA AIN THE FORM OF CHARTS AND GRAPHS

RE: data and charts

Hi Martin

Thanks for your question.

To create a chart/graph:

From your spreadsheet, select the data which contains the information you wish to graph.

Click the Chart Wizard button on the standard toolbar.

This will take you through 4 steps to create your chart. At the 4th step you can choose to display the chart on the same sheet as the spreadsheet data.

I hope this helps
Amanda

Excel tip:

Wrapping Text in a Cell in an Excel 2010 Workbook

When you have a lot of text you want to put in a particular cell but you can't decrease the font size to fit because the text will then become ineligible, then manually wrap the text in a cell by simply pressing ALT+ENTER.
