Colouring tabs

Is it possible to colour code different tabs in Excel 2000? I know how to do it in Excel 2003, but cannot do it in the 2000 version. I was given a macro code but it did not work.

RE: colouring tabs

By default you cannot change the tab colours in Excel 2000. That feature was only built in Excel XP/2002.

You could probably do it with VBA code, if you found the right code.

Excel tip:

Line breaks in a cell

You can control the line breaks for multiple-line headings or labels in your Microsoft Excel worksheet, just like you do in Microsoft Word. Here's how to do it.

Click the cell where you want the label or heading to appear.
Type the first line of information.
Press ALT+ENTER.
