Vlookups and Macros

Can you advise on how to incorporate data from different tabs or different worksheets in the use of Macros and Vlookups?

RE: Vlookups and Macros

Hi

Thanks for getting in touch. With VLOOKUPs just use your function as usual, but reference other sheets. e.g.

=VLOOKUP(A1, Sheet2!A1:B55, 2)

Will return the second column of data from a separate sheet.

Using macros in other sheets is perfectly acceptable, just record the actions you require (View > Macros > Record Macro).

This can be quite an indepth topic so do feel free to reply with your particular scenario.
Kind regards

Excel tip:

Printing spreadsheets without opening them first

Here's a fast way of printing a spreadsheet from Windows Explorer/My Computer.

Go to the location where the spreadsheet is saved on your computer, then right-click on the icon next to the document and select Print from the menu.

The spreadsheet will automatically open, print and close itself.
