Hi

I have a list of my clients in list/option box, using on the onClick property i would like a macro to change the record to a linked record on a subreport relative to the client i had selected

Hi Danny,

Thank you for your question.

I will have a look at some code I have at home and see if I can send you it tomorrow morning.

The code will be generic but you should be able to edit it to match your requirements. Have you attended the Access VBA course with us? If so, they should be some similar code that you may be able to adapt.

Access tip:

Prefixed Autonumbering

When using Date Type = Autonumber as a primary key, clients may require autonumbering to be prefixed with a letter.

For example, P001, where P is the prefixed letter

Instructions
Step 1. Create Field Name
Step 2. Set Data Type to Autonumber
Step 3. Within Field Property General tabsheet,
enter Format property as [backslash]P000
