Excel 2007 Spreadsheet

Is it possible to have a formula which includes colour coded cells automatically without selecting the cell?

RE: Excel 2007 Spreadsheet

Hello Linda,

The answer to your question is possible but not without learning VBA coding to achieve this. You could then write a script to detect the various colours then calculate

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

Excel tip:

Hide separate columns in Excel 2010

If you want to hide columns not adjacent to each other for example, Columns A, C and E then:-

1) Click on the fist column to be hidden i.e. A

2) Press and hold down the CTRL key

3) While holding the CTRL key, left click on the rest of the columns you want to hide i.e. C and E

4) Right click and choose Hide
