Using other people's Word docs

If updating a document inherited from someone else, full of invisible tabs etc, how can I "see" all the tabs and markups to delete them all

RE: Using other people's Word docs

Hi Lesley,

Thank you for your question.

To see the non-printing characters within your document, click the Show/Hide button.

This sits on your toolbar (top of the interface) and looks like a backwards P. Once clicked this will identify all tabs, spaces and other non-printing characters. When finished click the same button again to hide the non-printing characters.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post.

How to Format Text in Word 2010

To format text in Word 2010, first, select the text to be formatted, go to the Home tab where you will see groups such as Font, Paragraph or Styles. You will also find that the Mini Toolbar appears above the text when you select it or when you right click text.
