What is the best way to present a Gantt chart (prepared in project) in a text report?

RE: Microsoft Project

Hi Bella

You can quickly add a Gantt chart to a text report (e.g. in Word). To include all your tasks first select all of them by clicking the blank square above row 1.

Then choose Edit > Copy picture and switch to your destination application. Paste into your document and you will find a picture of your plan.

I hope this helps - let me know if you have any other questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:

Formatting Bar Text

To display notes or resource initials on the Gantt chart bars, choose Format, Bar Styles and the Text tab. Select the position you want to show the text i.e. Top or Inside etc, then choose the field name you are looking for from the drop down arrow. Type the first letter of the name to get quickly to the top of the letter range. Click OK.
