How do I change the colour of the font?

Changing font colour

Hi Joanne,

Dreamweaver makes it easy to change the font colour. Simply select the text you want to change, then use the properties panel to select a style or colour of your choice.

If you choose a colour, Dreamweaver will create a new CSS style for you and apply the style instead.

In the code view, this will add a <span class=".newstyle"> tag around the selected text.

I hope this helps and you enjoyed your Dreamweaver training yesterday.

Regards, Rich

Dreamweaver tip:

JumpMenu in new window

When inserting a jumpmenu to a page, the only option available for 'open in' is usually 'main window'. There would be other options available if the page was a frameset.

To change the jumpmenu to open in a new window, change the target parameter of the selectbox in your code to 'window.open()'.

eg.

<select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('window.open()',this,0)">
