Exporting data

Can I choose the format i export a table into excel in.

RE: exporting data

Dear Hardeep

Thank you for attending Access Intermediate course. I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

If you choose Tools > Office Links > Analyze with MS Excel. It can export your table or query into Excel and then you can use the Filter options to hide or display the data.

If you only want to export few fields or records from your database then simply create a query and Tools > Office Links > Analyze with MS Excel.

I hope this has helped in answering your query!! Please mark this as resolved if it has. If not then please press the reply button and ask for further clarification!!

Many thanks

Kindest Regards

Access tip:

Hiding Multiple Table columns

If you want to hide non-adjacent Access table columns. In Datasheet view, open the table that contains the columns you want to hide.

On the Format menu, click Unhide Columns.
In the Unhide Columns dialog box, clear the check box next to the name of each column you want to hide.
Click Close.

This method makes having to use the Hide Columns command repeatedly unnecessary
