You copy formulas the same way as any other values.

If you copy a cell containing a formula when you paste the cell at its destination the formula will be pasted.

This means that the formula may cause errors if the cells required to complete the calculation in the formula are empty or contain the wrong values.

If when copying a formula you use Paste Special / Paste Values the value of the original formula is pasted in place of the formula
