Applying a drop down option

Please could i be reminded how to add a drop down option to a particular column in a already excisting spread sheet

RE: Applying a drop down option

Hi Dinesh

Thanks for your question.

You can use Data - Validation, then choose List from the Allow: box.

Under Source: type in each item that you want to have in your dropdown list with a comma between each item, e.g. Sales, Accounts, Human resources, Administration.

Then click OK.

I hope this helps.

Excel tip:

Wrapping Text in a Cell in an Excel 2010 Workbook

When you have a lot of text you want to put in a particular cell but you can't decrease the font size to fit because the text will then become ineligible, then manually wrap the text in a cell by simply pressing ALT+ENTER.
