Time analising

How can i analise data that starts at 22:00hrs and goes through to say 03:00am and the answer be correct over data falling in two time periods???????

RE: time analising

Hi Debbie

Try custom formats

Right click on your cell and choose Format Cells then choose the Custom category. There are several minute and time related formats so you may need to experiment to find the right one. For example dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm allows you to specify a date and time. You can then calculate across day periods.

Hope this helps - let us know if you have further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Excel tip:

Hide separate columns in Excel 2010

If you want to hide columns not adjacent to each other for example, Columns A, C and E then:-

1) Click on the fist column to be hidden i.e. A

2) Press and hold down the CTRL key

3) While holding the CTRL key, left click on the rest of the columns you want to hide i.e. C and E

4) Right click and choose Hide
