Pivot Table

When I change the part of data table, it sometimes wouldn't reflect properly on the pivot table. Most grateful if you share tips to sort out.

Thank you for your question in STL's forum.

It is a bit hard to give a constructive answer based on just the information you gave me. There could be all sorts of reasons for the PivotTable not reflecting your changes to the table.

It would be helpful if you could send me a copy of your file so I can determine the reason for it not updating. You can send it to

Excel tip:

Display Functions on Worksheets

Functions in Excel can be difficult to recall their format/syntax

For example, you want to use the =PMT function.

Enter =PMT, then select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+A.

This usful memory jog, will display the arguments of a function on a worksheet, allowing the user to proceed with the generation of the function
