Im presuming you mean once you have created a table using the excel option "insert table" from the insert ribbon.
If so then you can remove that table formating by going to the DESIGN contextual tab (you will have to be on a cell in the table for that to appear) and click on the command CONVERT TO RANGE. You will then need to manually remove any style the table had by selecting the table range and using your basic formatting tools.
