Excel 2003

Can you connect two work sheets so that what is updated in one is automatically updated in the other and if so, how?

RE: Excel 2003

Hi Julie,

Thank you for your question.

Click into the cell that contains the value you would like linked to another worksheet and copy it.

Go to the second worksheet and select the cell you want the value pasted into. Then choose Edit - Paste Special - Paste Link.

This means if the cell you copied from changes, it will automatically update the cell in the other worksheet that you pasted into.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Some examples of CTRL key shortcuts in Excel 2010

Did you know that the old CTRL key shortcuts haven't changed from previous versions of Excel to the 2010 version?

They remain exactly the same:

Ctrl+B for bold
Ctrl+I for italics
Ctrl+P to Print
Ctrl+S to Save
