How can I delete a comment? (Not just the text, the little red triangle that appears in the cell).

thanks!

RE: Comments

Hi Kate, thanks for your query. You can delete a comment by right clicking on the relevant cell and selecting "Delete Comment". This will remove the comment text and the little red triangle. Alternatively, in Tools-Options and the view tab, you can alter the display options for comments and thereby remove the triangle even when there is still a comment attached to a cell.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Excel tip:

Paste with Live Preview in Excel 2010

Did you know you can preview what you are about to paste? Here's how to do it.

Copy what you are about to paste
Position the cursor where you want to paste
Right click to display the shortcut menu
Place the cursor over the Paste Options and this will give you a preview of the what you are about to paste.
