Creating forms on excel spreadsheets

Is it possible to create a form that will populate fields within your database?

RE: creating forms on excel spreadsheets

Hello Esson

Thank you for your question.

There is an in-built form in Excel that you can use to add new records to a database.

To add a new record:
1. Select a cell within the database.
2. Go to Data - Form
3. Click New, and enter data into each field.
4. Click Close when finished. The new record appears at the end of the database.

Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:

Some examples of CTRL key shortcuts in Excel 2010

Did you know that the old CTRL key shortcuts haven't changed from previous versions of Excel to the 2010 version?

They remain exactly the same:

Ctrl+B for bold
Ctrl+I for italics
Ctrl+P to Print
Ctrl+S to Save
