Jim has attended:
Project Intro Intermediate course
is it possible to set up separate project directories using info from the contact list to enable multiple contacts to be issued info without searching a wide database?
Hi Jim
thank you for your question. It sounds like you are looking to organise your project files centrally and use information from Outlook / Exchange to group that information based on your contact and distribution lists.
Project Professional isn't able to do this itself however it is able to connect to a dedicated Microsoft server solution called Project Server. You can find out more about Project Server from the Microsoft website at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/projectserver/FX100739841033.aspx
I hope this helps. If you have a further question please do not hesitate to contact us.
thanks
Andrew

Outlook tip:Sending on behalf of tip related to serversIf somebody gives you the correct access to there inbox then you should be able to send on behalf of that person. If it says that you do not have permissions then you would need to speak with the techie guys. There is a setting on all user accounts which gives you send on behalf of rights. Users would need to be added and thus solving the issue. |
