Excel

How can I total figures in a grid by associated months i.e. aggregate revenue by month?

RE: Excel

Hello Pete

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

I'm unsure of your reference to a grid; however if your data is arranged in a series of columns, where each column has a heading (like a database), you should be able to use either use subtotals or a pivot table to be able to do this.

Kind regards
Amanda

Microsoft Office tip:

Fine Tuning for AutoShapes

The Windows drawing tools are generally labelled lines, rectangles, oval, etc. Similarly in the Office Suite.

To regulate any shape, straight line, square, circle, stars, smiley faces, etc ... hold down the Shift key while you draw the shape. Remember to release the mouse button before releasing the Shift key.
