Thanks for your post
the way to use the conditional format is firstly select the cells
you want to format - then from the home ribbon locate the conditional formatting list and select one type of condition you need from one of the five categories and then apply them as you need

Fine Tuning for AutoShapes

The Windows drawing tools are generally labelled lines, rectangles, oval, etc. Similarly in the Office Suite.

To regulate any shape, straight line, square, circle, stars, smiley faces, etc ... hold down the Shift key while you draw the shape. Remember to release the mouse button before releasing the Shift key.
