Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

It depends what you want the macro to do for you as to whether you will be able to get Excel to carry this out for you using the basic macro recorder in Excel (Tools - Macros - Record New Macro); or whether what you want to do is more complex and therefore would require VBA coding.
