Hi Peter,

Thank you for your question. A macro is used to automate a tedious process.

You record the macro by selecting TOOLS and then RECORD NEW MACRO. Then you stop recording when finished.

To run the macro, TOOLS, MACRO, select the macro and click RUN.

Excel tip:

Find cells that match a format

In Excel you may wish to find cells that contain a specific formatting such s colour.

Select Edit > Find, click on Options and then Format...choose the formatting that you want found and click on OK

Choose one of the Find buttons to find.
