Shortcut keys and action buttons

What are the action buttons for and can I gain access to all the shortcut keys throughout microsoft packages

RE: Shortcut keys and action buttons

Hi Sarita,
Thank you for your post, I hope you enjoy your PowerPoint Advanced course today; in answer to your questions:

The Action Buttons in PowerPoint are placed on a slide to allow the presenter to perform certain tasks, ie jump to a specific slide, link to an external program or web page etc etc.
They can also be used to run different presentations (hidden slides etc)

Shortcut keys: you can view/print out shortcut keys for each program, if you type "shortcut keys" in the help box you will be presented with options which will enable you to access all the keyboard commands for that program. (You will have to do this in each program)

I hope that has helped, if so please click the resolved link, regards Pete

PowerPoint tip:

Moving Tabs where you want

This is a powerpoint only tip.

When you are moving tabs using the ruler the pain is that they jump, but if you use the CTRL key and then click on the tab it will allow you to move it anywhere you want.
