if I have blank fields on a report can I make the report shrink so I don't have lots of empty space?

Thank you for your post, in answer I think you should try this:

Access uses two properties to decide whether to adjust the size of a control to accommodate the data it contains

It is important to create proper relationships between tables. You can use Access to help check your designs and evaluate them by printing them in graphical format to help with design purposes


Click on the Tools menu, click Relationships.
On the File menu, click Print Relationships. View or print as required
