Hi Steve, Thank you for the post, In answer to your question Excel 2007 is supposed to be backwardly compatible with Excel 2003, therefore anything created in 2003 should work in 2007, but sometimes ....... need I say more, the only way you can be absolutly sure is try it, Macros perform very specific tasks which are user defined, copying mouse clicks and key presses. Remember if you have to use your 2007 files in 2003 to save them as 97 - 2003 compatible files. Best of luck. Pete
