Click File
Page Set Up
Choose the 'Sheet' Tab
About halfway down to the left there will be a check box 'checked' by Gridlines. That means it will print the gridlines. Uncheck this if you do not want the grid lines printed.

Hi Astrid,
Just to add a little bit to David's response, there is also another option in the menu command Tools>Options, under the view tab, there is a tick box to switch off the grid lines in your worksheet, hope that helps as well, if so please click the resolved link, best regards Pete.
