Link to graphic

What is the best way to link to a graphic within access. assuming the graphics are held in a folder outside of access/the database.

RE: link to graphic

Hi Mark. I presume you are trying to insert a graphic on a form using the control toolbox? Safest thing to do is bundle the database and the graphic (wmf) in the same directory thereby minimising the potential for a severed link. Failing that, just keep the location of the graphic constant, otherwise the link will break.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Access tip:

Hide Access Tables

One method of stopping your Access tables appearing in Database window, is to rename the table(s) with the prefix usys.

This converts the table into a system object, which cannot be viewed in the Database window.

You can show system objects in the Database window by the following:

Step 1: On the Tools menu, click Options.
Step 2: Click the View tab.
Under Show, select the System Objects check box.
Click OK.
