PPT slide master

Hi - I have added a logo to the slide master, but do not want the logo to appear on the front cover. How do I amend the template?

Thanks

RE: PPT slide master

Hi Patrick,

Thank you for your question regarding the removal of a logo from only one PowerPoint slide.

I am assuming you are using the Title Slide Layout for the front cover. If this is the case all you need to do to remove the logo is …

1. In Slide Master view, select the Title Slide Layout (this is usually the first of the smaller thumbnails)

2. Select the Slide Master tab and in the Background group, tick the ‘Hide Background Graphics’ box.

The process will be the same regardles of the slide layout you using; you just need to select to relevant layout master/smaller thumb nail.

Hope this helps.

PowerPoint tip:

Use templates to save time

If you need to set up a presentation quickly and don't have the time to add the colours and formatting yourself - take advantage of the ready-made templates in Powerpoint 2010.

When you create a new presentation in Powerpoint, you can select a ready made template from the Office.com section in the File menu.
