If you have a bullet list and convert it to a SmartArt graphic, can you convert it back to a bullet list? It seems odd to say but when you're creating something you sometimes end up thinking that the original list was actually better!
Hello Jane,
Thank you for your question regarding converting SmartArt Graphics to text.
Yes, this can be done...
...on the SmartArt Graphics Design ribbon, right-hand side on the reset group, click on Convert and then choose whatever option you require.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.

Hi Rodney
I don't seem to have a convert option. There is the reset button, but there are no options within that.
Kind regards
Jane
Hello Jane,
Sorry! The option I gave you only works with the 2010 version. The workaround for this will be as follows:
In SmartArt tools options ribbon, from the Create Graphic group click the Text Pane button. This shows the original bulleted list which you can copy then delete the SmartArt graphic and paste the contents into the placeholder which remains.
This works for me, bit of a pain though. Give it a try!
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
