Microsoft excel

on print preview can we see cell margins?

RE: Microsoft excel

Hi Shahadath

Thank you for your question. I'm not aware of a way of showing the margins of individual cells in print and preview.

The margins for a page can be found by going to File > Print. In the printer settings click Normal Margins and either choose one of the presets or click on custom margins and set your own.

A ruler is visible in page layout view (go to the view ribbon and click the Page layout button)

Alternatively you can view margins by clicking on the first of the two icons in the lower right corner of the Print and preview backstage view

I hope this helps - do let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Microsoft Office tip:

Copying From Websites

If you find some interesting text on a website that you wish to use and adapt in your wordprocessor or other package, highlight and copy in the normal way first.

When you paste though, use the Paste Special option to insert as unformatted text. That cuts out all the fancy formatting and hyperlinks that may be embedded.
