I have just created a new master slide layout and now need to convert all my old presentations into this scheme. How can i do this/ When I try copy and pasting my new master into an old master I lose all the formatting.
Katie
Hi Katie, thanks for your query. If you've created a new master slide layout, don't bother copying the new master into the old master. That way lies madness! Simply create a new presentation based on your new slide master and then copy/import without keeping the source formatting from an old presentation. The new slide master will automatically reformat the incoming information. It will never reformat it entirely correctly so it will still require a bit of work depending on how different your new slide master is.
Hope this helps,
Anthony

PowerPoint tip:Doodling on your active slidesTo add a little graphic interest during a presentation, switch on the Pen with Ctrl+P. Now your mouse can be used to draw on the slide. Ctrl+E switches on the Eraser to rub things out, and Ctrl+A brings back the Arrow. |
