Fitting 2 slides on to 1

I need to make 2 slides fit on to 1. They are both made up of text boxes and auto shapes. I have tried to group and copy to a new slide with 2 text boxes but they copy over @ 100% and take over the whole slide. How can I reduce each slide to 50% and copy over to a new slide so that they can sit side by side?

Thanks

Samm

RE: fitting 2 slides on to 1

Hi Samantha, thanks for your query. Have you tried putting each slide into Slideshow then taking a screenshot using the Print Screen key on your keyboard. That will copy each successive slide en block onto the clipboard and you can paste and resize it as you wish on the new slide.

Alternatively, group everything on the slide, copy it then, then paste special as a picture onto the new slide. Resize as you wish.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

PowerPoint tip:

Showing all menu items

If you go into a pull down menu you usally find that you get a selection of items(this is the default) or sometimes everything. If you only get a selectiopn you have to go to the double arrows at the bottom of the menu and click it to get all of the hidden items.
To turn this off so that you always get everything, go to Tools / Customize / Options Tab / "Always show full menus". Make sure there is a tick in the box and you will always have every item.
