Hi
I've put in the milestone, then the summary task, and then a number of tasks - the problem is with the task start date, as soon as I put in an end date the start date changes to the end date.

You must start your project with a start date and not an end date in this case
but if you want a n end date then you can link the task
On the Tools menu, go to Customize, and then select Toolbars.
Click the Options tab.
put a tick or remove the tick from the Show ScreenTips on toolbars check box.
