Copying Project plan (incl. gantt) into Excel

Hi there,

Is it possible to copy a MS Project Plan into MS Excel including the Gantt chart bit?

Thanks

Sam

RE: Copying Project plan (incl. gantt) into Excel

Hi Samantha,

Thank you for your question.

I know of 2 ways of achieving this:

1. Click Print screen on your keyboard and then paste it into Word as a picture.

2. Copy the project and paste special it as a Microsoft Project Object.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

MS Project tip:

Compare Work and Duration

Duration is the timescale within which a task is done; Work is the specific time element used. For example, 3 days work in a duration of 2 weeks. To compare, add the Work field into the Entry table by right clicking a column heading to Add Field.
