Updating excel links

Is there a problem with this?

RE: Updating excel links

Hi Richard,

Thank you for your question.

If you create a new spreadsheet, you must save and name the sheet. Then copy the data and paste special it into your PowerPoint slide. Then the links will update.

The problem we had was the fact we didn't save the Excel file first before the copy and paste special procedure.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simno

PowerPoint tip:

Hide Clipboard Task Pane

To prevent the Clipboard task pane from being displayed everytime you cut or copy an item, ensure that Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard is turned on. This feature is accessed by clicking on the Options button at the bottom of the Clipboard task pane.
