Is it better to use Quick Parts rather than a template?

RE: Quick Parts

Hi Jane
Thanks for your post
the reason people create and use templates are because other users across the network canuse them - as with quick parts they are used on just the PC they are created on so to answer this it will depend on the purpose for each
hope this is more clear to you

Microsoft Office tip:

Fine Tuning for AutoShapes

The Windows drawing tools are generally labelled lines, rectangles, oval, etc. Similarly in the Office Suite.

To regulate any shape, straight line, square, circle, stars, smiley faces, etc ... hold down the Shift key while you draw the shape. Remember to release the mouse button before releasing the Shift key.
