Can I customize my 1st slide for every presentation

RE: PowerPoint

Hi Carol

Thank you for your question. You can customise how the first slide in your presentation appears by going to view > Master > Slide Master. In the left column check to see if a Title Master is present if not insert a new one by going to the Insert menu and choosing New Slide Master.

Customise the Slide Master modifying text and perhaps adding a logo or changing the background. When you have finished switch back to normal View > Normal. Now when you create a title slide in this presentation the style you created in the Slide Master will apply.

I hope this helps - let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

PowerPoint tip:

Ways to make exact copies of shapes

There are several ways of making exact copies (duplicates) of shapes you have already drawn in PowerPoint:

1. Use Copy and Paste.

2. Select the shape you wish to duplicate and use Ctrl + D.

3. Select the shape to be duplicated, then hold down the Ctrl key while you drag to the position where you want the duplicate shape to appear.
