Slide Master

Can I use more than one master in a presentation?

RE: Slide Master

Hi Michelle,
Thank you for your question;
In answer - yes you can;
Usually a presentation will only store one set of slide masters. To maintain more than one slide master in a presentation you need to Preserve it. To do this, select the slide master in Master view, and click the Preserve master button on the Slide Master view toolbar, you will notice a small drawing pin appear next to the master to show that it is preserved, you can then apply the slide master to individual or multiple slides. I hope that has helped ... Pete

PowerPoint tip:

Preview slide show effects without changing views

It is possible to preview how a slide will look in slideshow view while working on your presentation, without changing views.

While you are editing your presentation, hold down the CTRL key and click the slide show view button.

This opens a small preview window on your screen which shows the particular slide you are working on in slideshow view. Press the Esc key to close the preview.
