Relationship

Is there an order on how to create a link between primary key and secondary key

RE: relationship

Hi Ayo,

Thank you for your question.

When you are trying to create a relationship, it doesn't matter whether you drag the Foreign key onto the Primary or the Primary key to the Foreign key.

Access will always assign the one part of the One to Many relationship to the Primary key.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Access tip:

Dsum

You can create percentage values based on individual products / items by using a Dsum function (used with a grouped query)

[Each value column] / Dsum[field:total for the column needed to be calculated],[tablename]
