When you create your workbreakdown structure you are in effect carrying out a brainstorming process. You are able to insert tasks, relocate tasks and delete tasks; thus adjusting your plan as more ideas occur.

If you want to carry out your brainstorm in mindmap form then "Mind Manager" is a mind mapping piece of software that has a plug in for MS Project.
